It’s a Twofer!
As a Lynnwood DUI Attorney, I see a lot of interesting factual scenarios play out. However, I have to say that I’ve never seen anything quite like what happened in Fairbanks, Alaska this week.
According to the Associated Press:
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) – Alaska State Troopers needed just one traffic stop to make two arrests for drunken driving. Troopers said a highway patrol officer arrested a 42-year-old man for drunken driving after stopping him for speeding on Sunday. A short time later, a 29-year-old man arrived to take custody of the car. The officer determined he had driven to the scene while drunk.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported that the second man also had an outstanding warrant for failure to report to jail from a prior DUI.
Both drivers were taken to the Fairbanks Correctional Center
