Now – I’m not one to tell the WSP how to do their jobs – but it seems to me that publishing WHERE the emphasis areas are for everyone to see will simply encourage folks to AVOID those areas of Snohomish County. It’s kind of like school zone cameras. We all know where they are – and we all try to find ALTERNATE routes. We don’t just SLOW DOWN.

So – take a gander at the map – what do you think? Did they hit all the right areas? Are they patrolling where they should be? And do you think this will actually increase Snohomish County DUI arrests?
